Autumn is the time of fragrant pies, which beckon everyone to the kitchen.
There are many varieties of this delicious pastry – pie, tart, galette. But no matter what you call the pastry, the main thing is a tasty filling and a suitable dough.
This is exactly the recipe we have prepared for you. It has everything! Delicate fish and broccoli, exquisite cream filling and light cherry tomatoes sourness.
Ingredients:
- 120 g cold butter or margarine
- 250 g flour
- 1 egg
- 1/3 tsp. salt
For the filling:
- 500-600 g salmon or trout TM SKADI
- 200 g boiled shrimps TM SKADI
- 400 g broccoli
- 7 cherry tomatoes
- 1 onion
For filling:
- 180 g cream
- 15 g potato starch
- 2 eggs
- salt, pepper – to taste
- 1 tsp. Italian herbs
Procedure:
- For the dough, you need to mix butter with flour and salt. When the mixture turns into crumbs, add the egg and beat the dough for another two minutes. Wrap it in cling film and put it in the fridge for an hour.
- While the dough is cooling, let’s start preparing the filling. Salmon or trout we cut into small pieces.
- Boil the broccoli almost until done and dry. Cut the onion into half rings and fry.
- Put the dough in a mold with a diameter of 23 cm and make sides. Place the dough in an oven heated to 180°C for 15-20 minutes. When the edge starts to turn ruddy, we can assume that our base is ready.
- While the base is baking, we can make a filling. For it, we need to mix all the ingredients and add salt and pepper to taste.
- When the base is ready, put fried onions on it first, then broccoli and fish. Pour the filling and put the tomatoes on top.
- Put the pie in the oven for 20-30 minutes and bake at a temperature of 180°C until the filling completely hardens.
